Hello everyone tav here with my review for the third episode of Days of our....er I mean Harper's Island. This weeks episode covers the third day on the island for the wedding guests in which our boy Henry (the groom) finally stands up to Big Daddy Wellington and the bride to be starts to have conflicted feelings because her ex has showed up on the island. Meanwhile the sheriff is off investigating the apparent suicide/death of the series first "known" victim, Kelly Seaver (Anna Mae Routledge).
Pros: the usual stuff (Decent Cinematography, some decent acting, and decent Editing)
Cons: almost no scares, not a whole lot of blood or anything, and a good portion of the beginning and end of the episode plays kinda like a soap opera but it is luckily broken up in the middle by the fun antics of rival groomsmen Cal and "Sully" and the situation that arises when a character goes renegade because of their connection with the series first "known" victim
Overall I give this episode a 4.5 out of 10 for spending about half the episodes 41 minute run time on insufferable TV soap opera esk plot points (such as the ex boyfriend showing up determined to try and rekindle their relationship so he can run off with the bride to be, two of the groomsmen "battling" for the affections of a certain skinny little blonde, and the reveal of an extra marital affair just to name a few), having pretty much no scares, a few "tense" situations, one new "victim" to pad the body count ( though I will say I kinda enjoyed the characters death even though I wished it had been a lot gorier than it was), and some fun moments in the middle that try to keep this episode from being a complete soap opera of an episode.
Episode Body Count: 1
Series Body Count So Far: 6
