Hanging off the cliff by Nazi intestines is one of the coolest things I have ever seen!! The music was pretty fucking awesome too! I just got a file sent my way from Undead of the song used at the end of Dead Snow...absolutely Badass!! if you guys have netflix watch instantly...make sure to check this one out like Santiag said.

Ok here goes, review #1 Dead Snow
Dead Snow is a Norwegian horror film directed by a Tommy Wirkola and stars Charlotte Frogner, Ørjan Gamst, Stig Frode Henriksen, Vegar Hoel, Jeppe Laursen, and Evy Kasseth Røsten who ever the fuck they are. The basic premise of the movie is a bunch of Norwegian college students go out to this cabin up in the mountains and get attacked by zombies in nazi uniforms.
Pros: Lots of blood, guts, and gore ( it's also the name of a song that was made exclusively for a documentary about the masters of horror (which is also part of the name of the doc) that was hosted by Bruce Campbell), some funny moments including one part which involves two nazi zombies and a grenade as well as the part Danny mentions above involving a character using nazi zombie intestines as a rope while hanging over a cliff, good special effects (most are from what I can tell practical effects though at parts it looks like there is some cgi blood and explosion effects), smart/talking zombies
Cons: almost entire film is subtitled, plays around with the rules of a zombie flick (i.e. smart zombies, getting bitten doesn't necessarily mean you'll turn into one, will kill anyone who messes-takes their gold, strong enough to rip a person apart limb by limb), little character development, and some what annoying euro rock music.
Overall I give Dead Snow a 6 out of 10 for being a bloody fun gorefest with nodes to both Evil Dead films, Brain Dead (aka Dead Alive), the original April Fools Day, and Wendigo. This movie lets you know early on what you are in for with it's music score which includes the excellent use of In the Hall of the Mountain King playing over the opening sequence involving the zombies chasing a woman through the woods before degenerating into nothing but euro rock music. I only recommend this movie for people who want bloody mayhem(body parts flying all over the place) and don't mind reading subtitles for almost the entire movie and listening to euro rock music.
Well I hope you enjoyed the review, and I will be posting a second movie review later on tonight
