Well, me and the family went to see Twilight today. I didn't really care about seeing it or not (I'm not a big vampire fan), but my 12-year-old step-daughter read the book and wanted to see it. I have to say that it was better than I thought it was going to be, but it's deffinitely a teeny-bopper movie. It wasn't scary and had lots of girly romance crap, but at least they had a few new interesting characteristics for the vampires--and some that were a little stupid. The look and feel of the movie was kind of in the same vein as Narnia and Harry Potter, but all in all it was pretty good. I wouldn't buy it, but it's not a waste-of-timer flick, either. I'd give it 3 out of 5 steaks to the heart.

I just cringed a little bit... If I have a choice between Twilight and the 3 stakes to the heart-- I will take the 3 stakes to the heart. Sorry... I have no interest in this one whatsoever, but that is kind of my style. I'm a hater.

Well my girlfriend has read all the books and shes 26. She went to the theater twice to see it and i think that sparkly vamp Edward (as she would say) is the only fictional character I could possibly lose her to.
Ya its kind of weird but she really thinks he's dreamy.
And no, I probably will never watch this one.

I saw this last night on dvd. Overall, not a bad film but a bit of a Chick Flick. I thought vampires were the bad guys. Now every teen aged girl wants one for a pet.

Well my girlfrend listened to the books so she had us sit down and watch it, yea the movie is attraction the teen audience. I find some of the ideas intriguing like Edward jumping town to town tying to fit in, the baseball scene I dont feel was needed. But my biggest complaint is the simple fact that vampires CAN be in the sunlight, to me that just throws all previous vampre lore down the drain
