Help us decide if TMHS should dedicate a very ghoulish episode to the great children's horror series, "Goosebumps" by R.L. Stine

Agreed...off in the not too entirely distant future. We might have to read some and watch some to get refreshed on the subject matter.

I vote yes... eventually. Couldn't hurt. One of my favorites was "The Haunted Mask".

The Haunted Mask was really cool! While doing a little research for this it appears that R.L. Stine is still at it strong with new Goosebumps books and a new movie coming out pretty soon.

I have a row on my shelf thats 3ft wide dedicated to goosebumps. I LOVED them when I was younger. Anyone, even the choose your own adventure one.
I always wanted that mask. Was wicked awesome. Another good one is Stay Out of the Basement. But the best has to be the entire series of Night of the Living Dummy.

Now that you mention it I did see a new Goosebumps book in Walmart last week. Can't remember what it was called though.

Another good one is Stay Out of the Basement. Yep. I had that one too. I always loved stories where people turn themselves into plants.

Stine I was in Borders today checking out the graphic novels and happened upon a Goosebumps graphic novel! I couldn't believe it b/c I'd never heard about it. And not only that but the artwork was really good! So I did some digging on the net and found this: www.scholastic.ca/goosebumpsgraphix/books/index.htm FYI: I'll also post this on the horror comic list.

Goosebumps are still going strong at the library where I am in charge of the kids and teen departments! We have the DVDs, too. During October we have a weekly "Got Goosebumps" program for kids where we basically try to scare the heck out of them by telling scary stories and we make shrunken heads out of apples or do zombie make-up or something. We have it after the library is closed so the kids can run around with the lights off all through the building and play Ghost in the Graveyard. I am glad that a new generation of kids still like to stay scared! Love, ing

Man that would be awesome if you guys did a show about Goosebumps or heck even a R.L. Stine centric episode focusing on both the Fear Street and Goosebumps book series. Though if you do just a Goosebumps centric episode don't forget to include Return of the Mummy,Night of the Dummy III, Phantom of the Auditorium, Monster Blood II, and definitely The Haunted Mask into your discussion because those were in my opinion some of the best ones that came out and I can't wait to hear what you guys think about part in Monster Blood II the giant mutant hamster goes on a rampage through the school.

I'd say that this is still on our radar. And I TOTALLY forgot about Fear Street... Thanks for bringing that up... because that will no doubt have to be mentioned.
